It’s more reliable, safer and in Manila, it’s actually cheaper.
As much as I want to support the plight of taxi drivers in our Cities, the country’s agencies have failed to make sure citizens using regular cabs (and public transpo) are safe and are not overcharged (Php 800 from the airport to Makati)!
The last time I took Uber from Araneta Center to The Fort I was charged Php 182. So I humbly suggest that the LTFRB take the MMDA’s cue and look for ways to make this work instead of apprehending these alternative forms of transportation that give people like me a choice.
